Faith, as one of the fundamental concepts in many religious and philosophical traditions, has traditionally been understood as an inner belief. However, this article examines faith not merely as a mental and internal concept, but as a practice manifested in people’s daily lives. The research emphasizes that faith should be evident not only in the heart but also in individual actions and behaviors. Human behaviors when facing problems, social interactions, and daily decision-making can serve as indicators of genuine faith. This article highlights the importance of practicing faith in individual and social life and analyzes the relationship between faith and action across various dimensions of life.

**Introduction:**

In the contemporary world, spiritual concepts like faith are often considered as internal and subjective phenomena. However, newer analyses suggest that faith should go beyond being merely a mental belief and be manifested in practical actions and individual behaviors. Many studies in psychology and philosophy of religion emphasize that faith should practically appear in daily life and social interactions, particularly during crises or when making ethical and humane decisions. This article analyzes the role of faith in action and its impact on people’s individual and social lives.

**Faith in the Modern World:**

In today’s world, where people face numerous social, cultural, and personal challenges, faith as an inner force can play a significant role in shaping individual and social behaviors. However, this faith must be tested in practice and through interaction with one’s environment. Many individuals may mentally believe in religious or ethical concepts but fail to translate this faith into action in various life situations. For example, a person might believe in helping others and ethical behavior but, when faced with personal crises, may not fully apply this faith in their life.

Studies in the psychology of religion show that faith is strong and stable when individuals can effectively put it into practice in different life situations. This manifestation occurs not only during crises but also in daily interactions and ethical decisions.

**The Role of Faith in Action: Psychology and Philosophy**

In existential and religious psychology, faith is recognized as an important psychological characteristic that should be evident in an individual’s daily life. The renowned psychologist Erik Erikson emphasizes in his works that personal identity is directly related to how one acts in the face of challenges and crises. In other words, faith is not just an inner belief but should serve as an active force in individual and social life.

In religious philosophy, many thinkers argue that genuine faith is that which manifests in action and daily life. For instance, in religious teachings, an individual’s behavior when facing problems and social interactions can indicate their true faith. Faith that remains only in the mind cannot bring about profound changes in one’s life.

**Faith and Social Interactions:**

In social life, faith not only helps individuals in personal matters but also influences social behaviors and human relationships. People who demonstrate their faith in action typically exhibit more humane and ethical behaviors in their social interactions. These individuals, especially in difficult and critical situations, draw upon the values of their faith, thereby strengthening human and social relationships.

Such social behaviors can include helping others, performing charitable acts, or making ethical decisions that ultimately benefit society and one’s environment. Therefore, faith in action can play an effective role in strengthening social cohesion and collective ethics.

**The Impact of Faith on Ethical Decision-Making:**

One crucial aspect of faith in action is its influence on an individual’s ethical decision-making. When a person has faith in something, this faith should be evident in various life situations, particularly when making ethical decisions and facing personal crises. In such moments, faith helps individuals make more ethical decisions and remain true to their principles despite social, personal, and economic pressures.

Various studies have shown that individuals with practical faith usually adhere to their ethical principles during crises and make logical and ethical decisions in challenging situations.

**Conclusion:**

Faith is not merely an internal and mental concept but should be manifested in action and daily life. This practical faith can have profound effects on people’s individual and social lives. This article has emphasized the importance of action in faith and demonstrated that genuine faith should flow not only in the heart but in every move and decision an individual makes. People who put their faith into action are not only recognized as better human beings but also have positive impacts on their social relationships and society.
